Vision Book
*Indigo Design Award Silver in Book Design
An organization dedicated to the telling of a uniquely human story, the Dallas Holocaust Museum Vision Book focuses on the evolution of Civil Rights in America. The museum tells the story of the Holocaust, also informing the public on the development of human and civil rights in America. Since the museum focuses on the historical significance of events as well as their societal impacts, I based the vision book after newspaper layouts. Which is why the book is looseleaf and not bound. The red, black, and white color scheme reflects the colors of their logo. The book, The Fight for Civil Rights in America, chronicles the Civil Rights Movement of the 50s to today’s Black Lives Matter activism, while highlighting quotes from well-known human and civil rights leaders.
